We know that people progress further in their wellness journey when facilities are welcoming, provide adequate space, privacy and a minimally distracting environment. To support the needs of current members and offer services to additional people in the community, the facility must increase its capacity.

This facility expansion is necessary to accommodate community growth – serving individuals and families in search of well-being and continuing to cultivate stronger relationships. It will include over 5,800 square feet of additional wellness center space and nearly 4,500 square feet of adult locker rooms.

Enlarged program and service offerings allow adults and parents to be strong health and wellness role models to newcomers as well as in the presence of teens and young children.

In response to the needs of the Wells community, the Wells County YMCA is embarking on an $8 million building campaign to expand our reach and impact more lives. This state-of-the-art 38,000 square foot facility will be a place where children, adults and families can become more connected, more confident and more secure through activities which promote health and wellness.

This lodge-style facility will be welcoming and warm, putting community members at ease as they pursue healthier lifestyles, bond as families and grow together as a community.
