YMCA Service Trip Scholarship Application
This scholarship is available to students who would like to engage in a life-changing experience working with underprivileged youth and children.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- Be a member of the YMCA
- Be 18-29 years of age
- Be enrolled full-time for school
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Able to legally obtain a passport
Selection Criteria
The following factors will be considered when selecting a recipient:
- Short statement on financial need
- Essay on trip benefits and personal goals
- Demonstrated ability to relate to a diverse group of people from all social and economic segments of a community
