SINCE 1982, THE YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU HAS BEEN PROVIDING HELP TO AREA SCHOOLS AND FAMILIES FOR AT-RISK, TROUBLED YOUTH.
Our primary goal is to provide comprehensive crisis and intervention services to children, youth and families in Allen County.
However, we do much more.
We foster commitment to change by providing insight to problems and realistic solutions. We equip youth and their families with training, resources and support, enabling them to make change, bridge gaps and overcome obstacles.
How are we impacting youth?
Hope for Youth
In collaboration with Fort Wayne United the Renaissance Pointe YMCA is hosting a Late Night Basketball program to help young people with a positive place and connections to education resources, law enforcement, and employment. They come in for basketball but get a whole lot more from caring adults there to listen and support.
The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne has been steadily growing our services to teens. These include the free 7th Grade Membership initiative, Teen Leaders Clubs, Middle School Afterschool Programs, cooking classes, music programs, and more.
