Coming Early 2027 to The Summit Campus
The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is excited to introduce its newest wellness branch—the Turpin Family YMCA—bringing expanded health, fitness, and community opportunities to the south side. Located at 1025 West Rudisill Blvd., this new Y will offer more than 25,000 square feet of space designed to help individuals and families grow stronger—together.
What to Expect
The Turpin Family YMCA will feature:
- A newly renovated, state-of-the-art Wellness Center
- Group exercise classes for all fitness levels
- Youth sports programs and activities
- Programs for active older adults
- Two existing basketball courts
- Child Watch services, offering up to two hours of care for children while parents use the facility
Built for Community
This new branch represents a meaningful investment in expanding access to health and wellness resources in the 46807 neighborhood and surrounding areas. With new programming and updated facilities, the Turpin Family YMCA will be a place where people of all ages can connect, stay active, and thrive.
Construction and renovations are set to begin in August 2026, with doors expected to open in early 2027.
