Fort Wayne Community Schools
At the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. Our before and after school programs helps students cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and improved academic achievement.
In partnership with Fort Wayne Community Schools, the YMCA is proud to offer before and after school care for preschool through 5th grade at select locations.

2026-27 FWCS Spring Break Camp: Registration opens February 22, 2027 online at 8am! Must be a current participant in the Before/After Y Care with the Child Care Services YMCA. More information soon!
2026-27 FWCS Closing Care: Must be a current participant in Before and/or After Y care. Scheduled days with closing Y care are 10/19/26, 1/18/27 and 3/12/27. Both weather and scheduled closing days are charged daily if our child(ren) are in attendance. Your child must be pre-registered for closings care (scheduled or weather). CCDF vouchers accepted at select locations. Proof of immunization is required. Please send that to Jenn Balkema by July 15! You cannot attend care until we receive your immunization records.

The Afterschool Spot (TASS) 6th-12th Grade
The Afterschool Spot is designed to help teens thrive in life. We offer academic support, service learning, and life skills development. We have a variety of fun engaging activities from the culinary arts to hip hop dance. Limited transportation provided. For more information, contact the Renaissance Pointe Y at 260.447.4567.
