Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It’s about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities. At the Y, it’s not about the activity you choose as much as it is about the benefits of living healthier on the inside as well as the outside.

Wellness for Life
Our Wellness for Life coaching program connects you with a trained wellness coach for a free seven-week program designed to support your pursuit of healthy living. Our trained, supportive staff will help guide you in setting goals and provide tools and resources that will help on your wellness journey! Stop by the Wellness Desk to register or email us with the branch you will visit most and we can assist.

Personal Training Program
Receive one-on-one instruction with our Certified Personal Trainers who will design an individualized program, structured just for you! Programs may include cardiovascular training, strength training, core training, and functional fitness.
YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program
The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program is designed to help those at a high risk of developing type 2 diabetes adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating healthier and increasing activity and losing a modest amount of weight in to reduce the chances of developing the disease.
LiveSTRONG (Cancer Survivor Program)
At the Y, we believe in freely offering the gift of hope to the people in our community who are experiencing or have experienced cancer. LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA allows cancer survivors the opportunity to come to the Y to heal. We provide people facing cancer with a safe, loving and caring environment. Cancer knows no boundaries, but we believe in the strength of community and that every survivor deserves unconditional support, a chance to belong and an opportunity to feel “normal” as they regain their strength.
Blood Pressure Self Monitoring
If you are living with high blood pressure, taking action to keep it well-controlled will minimize your risk for complications like stroke, heart attack and even death. The YMCA’s Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring program is an evidence-based program that offers personalized support as individuals develop the habit of routinely self-monitoring their blood pressure. Research shows that the process of recording blood pressure at least twice a month over a period of four months can lower blood pressure in many people with high blood pressure.
Y Weight Loss
Reach your wellness goals with us and join the Y Weight Loss program. Learn skills for successful lifestyle changes that are void of restrictive short-term weight loss solutions. Our program is designed to help individuals seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to daily behaviors and forming sustainable healthy habits. Because weight loss is unique to each person, the tools provided during this program, along with the knowledge and support of the group, are used by participants to develop their own food and activity plans that work for them. The program is designed for adults18 years and older who desire a healthier weight.
EnhanceFitness, an evidence-based group exercise program, helps older adults at all levels of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives. This class uses simple, easy-to-learn movements that motivate individuals to stay active. Each class session focuses on healthy heart exercises, strength training, balance, and flexibility – everything adults need to maintain health and function as they age.
