Join the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne for a community-wide National Day of Prayer, inviting people of all backgrounds into a time of non‑partisan, inclusive, and hopeful prayer. Rooted in our mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all, these gatherings are designed to foster connection, reflect gratitude, and speak hope over our city.
Whether you come for a few quiet moments or participate in a guided gathering, all are welcome.

- 9:00 AM – Prayer Gathering at the Trail Pavilion
- Begin the day together with a community prayer gathering surrounded by God’s creation.
- Prayer Trail Stations | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Open to the entire community
- Walk the Prayer Trail at your own pace and engage with thoughtfully designed prayer stations focused on gratitude, community, leadership, families, and hope. Whether you’re taking a break during your day or intentionally setting aside time for reflection, the Prayer Trail offers a meaningful, come‑and‑go experience.
- Extra invitation: This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members—even those new to the Y—to experience a peaceful and welcoming space for prayer.
Renaissance Pointe YMCA | 2323 Bowser Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46803
- 9:30 AM – Prayer Breakfast
- A special morning gathering for pastors, ministers, and chaplains serving the south side of Fort Wayne.
- This prayer breakfast is a chance to connect, encourage one another, and pray collectively for churches, neighborhoods, and the people we serve.
Jorgensen Family YMCA | 10313 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804
- 1:00 PM – Blessing of the Y
- Join Fr. Jake Schneider, the Y leadership team, and members for a meaningful walk through the branch. Participants will stop at seven locations throughout the facility, blessing each space with holy water and prayers—asking God’s presence over all who gather, serve, and grow there.

- 6:30 PM – Evening Worship & Prayer
- Close out the National Day of Prayer with a time of worship, reflection, and shared prayer for: Our Coutry, Our Community, Our Churches, & The YMCA
- All are welcome to participate in this evening gathering of unity and hope.

The National Day of Prayer at the YMCA is open to members and the broader community. You do not need to attend every gathering—join what fits your schedule and spirit.
