Grant Funding Support

As a non-profit organization, the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne relies on the generosity of
donors and grant funders to continue carrying out our mission through programs and facilities. For
the latest grant news from the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, click here.  

The PNC Foundation granted $2,500 for the 2015 YMCA Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to children and families in need in the form of reduced membership rates or program fees.

PHP Foundation, whose $10,000 helped to support the Renaissance Pointe Y’s Obesity Wellness Network program, which helps low-income obese individuals to improve their health outcomes.

Schwab Foundation, which granted $8,477 for the Team Students of Success (SOS) program at the Renaissance Pointe YMCA. SOS provides activities in Leadership Development, Character Building, Life Skills, College Readiness and Job Readiness.

The Auer Foundation granted $25,000 for the Integrative Arts Program, in which the Y partners with local artists to provide arts opportunities to children who participate in our After School and Summer Learning programs.

Foellinger Foundation, whose $75,000 went towards capital improvements at the Central Branch YMCA to better serve its growing number of youth and family members.

NIPSCO Community Investment Program, which granted $2,000 for the 2015 YMCA Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to children and families in need in the form of reduced membership rates or program fees.
