Grant Funding Support

As a non-profit organization, the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne relies on the generosity of
donors and grant funders to continue carrying out our mission through programs and facilities. For
the latest grant news from the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne, click here.  

The Lutheran Foundation - $20,000 for the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program which helps adults reduce their chances of developing type 2 diabetes and improve their overall health and well-being.
Prophet Sisters Foundation - $2,443 in support of the Safe Place program, which provides youth in crisis situations access to immediate help and supportive resources through the YMCA’s Youth Service Bureau.
Ian and Mimi Rolland Foundation - $2,500 for 2015 Annual Campaign, which provides financial assistance to children and families in need in the form of reduced membership rates or program fees. Also $1,000 to defray costs involved with the YMCA River City Rat Race.

For the Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA construction:
Zollner Foundation – An additional $100,000 grant, bringing their total support for the project to $200,000.
Parkview Health - $1,500,000 for the construction of a physical therapy clinic within the Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA.
Star Financial Bank - $25,000
Fort Wayne Metals - $25,000
Brotherhood Mutual - $50,000 for the chapel
