A Program of the Indiana State Alliance of YMCAs 

 

Every Other Thursday beginning in September  @ 7PM

Youth & Government is an exciting opportunity for students in 7th-12th grade to step into the shoes of those run our State Government. This program gives students the opportunity to:

  • Participate in debates on important issues
  • Strengthen leadership and communication skills
  • Solve issues that affect our community
  • Engage in a three day Model Government Conference at the Indiana Statehouse
  • Write legislation and youth legislature
  • Network with community leaders and mentors
